Our Mission

ValCare is on a mission to improve senior care services for our elderly population. The care we provide dignifies each person while keeping the focus on inspiring every member of the ValCare family to be their best each day. We offer the comforts of home, along with a direct care team, who is always ready to give valuable care (ValCare), the support, and services older ones need to live more successfully. Hence, our goal is to provide home health care programs which can be tailored to meet our clients' needs in a satisfying way.

For seniors who desire to live independently, yet require some assistance for tasks they can no longer manage on their own, home health care providers are readily available. On the other hand, older ones can benefit from the dependent care services we offer. Whether a client has mobility challenges, suffers from Multiple Sclerosis (MS), is bedridden, or in need of hospice care, our trained and committed caregivers are here for you.

ValCare aims to build strong relationships with our valued clients/and or their families daily. We, therefore, listen carefully and try to learn what matters most to our clients. Gaining such foundational knowledge and insight enables us to make client-first decisions in all that we do. As a result we are able to impact the lives of our clients in a meaningful way.

Valencia Coombs

Hi!

My name is Valencia Coombs, and I hold a degree in Architecture, license in Real Estate and Design, but despite the glitz of these professions, I found that my true passion is caring for people, in particular, the elderly.  I discovered this passion when I was searching for a more satisfying career and stumbled upon this profession while assisting a friend. I felt the rewarding effects of helping someone and decided to invest some time in exploring it.

During my first year in the health care field, assisting a friend, I worked as a health care contractor, with private clients. I had an opportunity to visit some clients in nursing homes, however, after seeing the poor quality of care, harsh treatment, and neglect that some elderly family members get in these facilities, I just couldn't ignore the dark reality of the elderly in good conscience. The lack of love, patience, and time was missing, all of which are vital to helping our elderly to thrive naturally in any aspect of life.

So, I decided to create my own independent and personalized elderly care solutions, after much evaluation and research, and obtained my license shortly thereafter in Home Health Care. In addition, I became certified in CPR and First Aid. I also received a certificate in Patient Care and Hygiene, Food Safety, Meal Planning Sanitation, and Therapeutic Nutrition. I also found it necessary to study How to Safeguard Vulnerable Adults, and Dementia. I am so grateful to have stumbled upon this very rewarding career and I can't wait to assist you or your loved one(s) on their journey to independence.

At ValCare, we offer the type of service and care that makes our clients feel as if he or she is part of the family. Our services are tailored to each individual and geared towards helping make each person's life easier. I help them to thrive in the comfort of their environment, at home, or in an independent facility. I cannot express the joy I feel when I see one of my clients thrive and enjoy their independence.

Currently, we offer services that include personal care, home care at the ValCare residence, assistance through various services such as transportation to health appointments, retrieving packages, and grocery shopping. I do just about any legal job function that assists the patient in becoming or feeling more independent each day. Taking care of people is my passion and therefore I allow my patients to select and design their care needs, thereafter, make suggestions if needed, and create the service package that is essential to their independence.
